N, Reso was first started in 2013 by Nicola Sedgwick who was then a childminder. She enjoyed making hair accessories in her spare time at her dining room table for her little girl and the children she cared for.
Parents started to notice them at her local school, so she had many of them approach her to make some for their children.
As she had quite a lot of interest she decided to open a Facebook page which became very successful, she then started to supply hair accessories for children all around her town & local area.
In 2014 a uniform supplier contacted her and asked if she would make some hair accessories bespoke to uniforms for them to look at. She made some, they loved them and decided to stock her hair accessories for some of their tartan school uniforms.
Since then N,reso has grown and now supplies shops, dance schools, sports teams & schools. The product range now includes ponytail bobbles, pigtail bobbles, scrunchies, headbands, tie bows and other items.
Just in case your wondering, the name N,reso stands for “N made” – “Nicola made”. As she just wanted something simple which said that she had made it, she decided to use her Italian background and came up with this. She could have also used fatto but thought N,fatto just didn’t sound right hahaha!
